I've been to a lot of dermatological and aesthetic clinics, my experience varies from the worse services to the best treatment ever! And recently, I've been invited to try the services at Skintology Aesthetics Clinic--which is an expert in providing quality and innovative dermatological treatments for both men and women.

In fact, they've got so many services and treatments that when the list was handed to me to make my choices, it felt like I was in a restaurant about to order my meal. Purple Plum Fairy was able to try their 'Total Beauty Package' (Php1,200) with Nightingale Poo Mask (additional Php500) Yes, you're reading it right--the said mask is made from a bird's poop. I got curious on what does the bird's poop does to one's face. Don't worry though, it's already been processed so it doesn't smell what it's supposed to smell like. It actually smells like sulfur to me. So what exactly does the Nightingale Poo mask do? Well, according to them, it has a lot of benefits which includes: helps to improve skin elasticity and blood circulation, encourages collagen repair, destroys localized fatty deposits and dead skin cells and improves the appearance of fine lines, early signs of aging and wrinkles. The result? You actually look and feel younger!
The said treatment started off with an aloe vera gel with facial massage. It's very relaxing since the cool gel seems to quench your skin's 'thirst'. Then, you'll go under steam to sort of 'open the pores'--but there's no pricking involved. It's followed by galvanic treatment for skin rejuvenation + they'd massage your face some more. Then they'll put in some Vitamin E and another treatment called Ionotherapy for skin firming. After which, they put on the Nightingale Poo Mask--it's also for whitening, anti-wrinkles, refining and anti-aging from Japan. They'll leave it on your skin for a while then they'd wipe it off and then some more massage on the face. And then, they've put a gauze on my face and used laser on my skin which is done to close the pores and minimize redness. Then, they used cold sonic--again to close the pores and to relax my skin. Lastly, they've put on a Hyaluronic mask for skin firming.
In all fairness, after an hour of trying out Skintology's Total Beauty Package' with Nightingale Poo mask, I've noticed that my skin had somehow cleared up and although I felt a bit of discomfort when Vitamin E was applied to my face. I was told later that such reaction was because I've got really dry sensitive skin. But after a while, it subsided on its own anyway. So as I was saying, after the Total Beauty Package with Nightingale Poo Mask treatment at Skintlogy clinic, I was surprised to find my skin supple and soft as a baby's. Although I'm blessed with good genes as I need not worry about acne problems and stuff like that, I know my skin is far from being perfect. I do have red irritated spots on my face which could either be itchy or something that stings. It seems like magic to me but after the Skintology Total Beauty Package with Nightingale Poo treatment, voila! It temporarily disappeared!
I would highly recommend Skintology's Total Beauty Package with Nightingale Poo mask when you're about to attend a party or some special occasion where you'd want to look your best because it gives one a temporary skin glow which will surely be noticed by everyone. I wish I had a date on that night I went to try the treatment--it would've been great to have someone who'd compliment you on how glowing your skin was. I bet it would have given me a natural blush. Oh well, so much for my fantasy! The thing is, the said treatment's result is only temporary but one with a result that will surely make you happy. So if you really want that kind of skin glow, I think you'd have to do this on a regular basis.
Overall, I'd say that the Total Beauty Package with Nightingale Poo mask is one of the most relaxing facial treatments I've ever tried--well, of course, sans my skin's reaction to the vitamin E (but that's because my skin's super dry + sensitive). It may be a bit on the upscale when it comes to its price, but it's all worth it. Skintology clinic may be a bit small but it's definitely spic and span, well-maintained + the staff are helpful, polite and friendly. You're also assured of your privacy as the clinic maintains confidentiality among its clientele.
