MATTHEW PERRY BACK ON TELEVISION IN THE ODD COUPLE

Matthew Perry graces the boobtube again!

Press Release: Best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the long standing television sitcom “Friends”, Matthew Perry returns to the small screen in THE ODD COUPLE as Oscar Madison, an endearing slob who takes in Felix Unger, played by Thomas Lennon, a roomie who turns out to be an uptight neat freak.

In this half hour sitcom, Oscar Madison (Perry) and Felix Unger (Lennon) are two former college buddies who become unlikely roommates after the demise of their marriages but seeing as they are complete opposites, it’s not long after Oscar lets Felix move in with him that Oscar fears he’s made a monumental mistake.

Oscar’s jack-of-all-trades assistant, Dani, and his long-time agent, Teddy, have their hands full trying to keep Oscar’s career as a sports radio host on track as he deals with his new living situation. Fortunately, their quirky next door neighbour Emily helps Felix adapt to his new life as a bachelor and rein in his copious eccentricities. Despite how exasperated Oscar and Felix make each other, in the end, these mismatched friends agree they can help each other move on from their divorces and somehow make this crazy living arrangement work.

Aside from starring in THE ODD COUPLE, Perry also takes credit as one of the show’s executive producers. Other members of the cast include Lindsay Sloane, Yvette Nicole Brown and Wendell Pierce.

Perry previously starred in the short-lived series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006) on NBC, and short-lived sitcoms such as ABC’s Mr. Sunshine (2011) and NBC’s Go On (2012)
