CinePanulat Screenwriting Workshop for FREE





Do you have what it takes to make it in the industry as a screen writer?
Acclaimed film director Jun Robles Lana has announced the latest edition of CinePanulat Screenwriting Workshop for budding scriptwriters and movie enthusiasts. CinePanulat Screenwriting Lab is an annual workshop slated from March 5 to May 29. This is a FREE screenwriting workshop sponsored by IdealFirst Entertainment.

The workshop is open for all ages 18-40 years old. To join, send a full resume with recent photo to jrlworkshops@gmail.com on or before February 10, 2016. Aspirants and applicants need to indicate on their resume if they have previous work experience related to TV, movies, and theater as well as if they’ve had attended similar screenwriting/scriptwriting workshops before.



There will be a stringent screening process among the applicants and only those qualified will be asked to come for a preliminary screening which will be happening on February 21. There will only be 20 participants who will make the cut. Successful applicants will undergo thorough screenwriting workshops for FREE.

The recent CinePanulat Screenwriting Lab had produced successful graduates. The said workshop has produced acclaimed Sekyu by Brylle Tabora won 2nd place in Dulaang Pampelikulang Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, I America by Ivan Payawal emerged as one of the 10 finalists for 2016 Cinemalaya Film Festival while Jen Chuansu’s Sleepless was one of the finalists for QCinema International Film Festival which was directed by her fellow CinePanulat Screenwiritng Lab 2015 participant, Prime Cruz.




The IdealFirst Company is a brainchild of partners Perci Intalan and Jun Robles Lana. They were also the ones responsible for producing Sleepless which bagged two major awards; Best Actor and NETPAC Best Asian Film.

CinePanulat Screenwriting Lab has produced successful graduates, most of them are now working professionally as regular writers for movies and TV directors.
