Domex keeps our family safe from diseases by being 100% germ free

No one wants to clean the toilet. Heck, no one even wants to talk about cleaning the toilet. But since we find ourselves on the porcelain throne several times a day, it’s important that your potty is as clean as possible. But did you guys know that unsanitary toilets cause disease among children? Yes folks. There is a big difference between disinfecting and cleaning our toilets really well. This truth is just one of the many things I have learned after attending Domex celebration of the World Toilet Day, a United Nations Days of observance of the global sanitation crisis.

Although it’s very rarely discussed, toilet sanitation is really important. As I listened to the germ experts, Domex, it was discussed that it’s the number one cause of disease among children.  Committed to raising hygiene standards, Domex has participated in the One Million Clean Toilets Project where they pledge to educate 1 million people toilet sanitation every year. Now on their third year, this is their 3 million to date.

Maria Luisa Orezca, President of the Philippine Public Health Association said, “The issue of toilet sanitation in our country is important. There are several germs found in toilets that cause sicknesses.”

I guess most people will be able to relate with me when I say that I like keeping my toilets clean. I’m very particular about cleanliness even to the point of sometimes becoming obsessive-compulsive (OC), but then that’s just me. However, just like anyone else, I didn’t know that not because a toilet smells nice and looks sparkling-clean it necessarily meant it’s germ-free. During the press conference, I learned that not because a toilet is spotless it’s already synonymous to germ-free. 

Domex Research and Development Manager Amor Montefalcon-Prieto says, “In order to stay 99.9% germ-free, it is essential to use a specialized toilet cleanser that not only cleanses but kills germs as well.” “Consumers might be content with using thin bleach and laundry detergent. While they may clean the toilet, they do not necessarily kill germs thoroughly.”

Domex works in a way that it has triple action because it thoroughly cleanses and has effectively proven contact time and has far reach. Domex kills a wide range of germs such as various fungi, bacteria, and viruses. It’s 5 times thicker than thin laundry bleach, it also lasts up to seven flushes as compared to the thin bleach which lasts for only two. Domex is also able to reach and access hard-to-reach areas inside out toilets.
