I have featured Bo's Coffee way back in 2012 on my food blog. And being a fan of their specialty coffee, I'm happy that they really had come a long way since 1996 when they've opened their very first branch in Ayala Center in Cebu City.
In fact, Bo's Coffee have an oath of some sorts to their customers which is painted on the walls for all to see. And unlike other coffee shops, they don't just call their customers by name once their order is ready, but each item is served with a genuine smile.

"We want everyone to feel the Bo's Coffee experience as they look for a nook and haven where students, friends, and families can study, bond, and share stories in a cozy and feel-at-home atmosphere over their favorite local brew," says Coochy Mamaclay, Bo's VP for Brand and Marketing. "We selected UP Town Center because it is strategically located in a bustling community that's full of individuals from all walks of life."

The chandeliers at this cozy Bo's Coffee outlet was conceived by no less than world-famous designer Kenneth Cobonpue (who also hails from Cebu City) while the furnishings are colorfully upholstered by ANTHILL Fabric Gallery. Other quality products are also available here such as Tsaa Laya, Gawad Kalinga's Bayani Brew (iced tea and beverages) as well as Theo and Philo (specialty chocolates).

What is it about Bo's Coffee that I like the most? Well, unlike other coffee shops, each time you sip a cup of coffee from Bo's, you help the locals in their respective communities. Bo's Coffee partners with social enterprises, it's part of their commitment and advocacy to cultivate and nurture them.
Bo's Coffee takes pride that all the coffee beans served at their shops are locally sourced from highland coffee farmers in places like Sagada and Benguet in Mountain Province, Mount Kitanglad in Bukidnon, Mount Apo in Davao and Mount Matutum in Tupi, South Cotabato.
"We serve coffee-to-cup freshness using only high quality coffee beans from these local and sustainable sources," the Bo's Coffee official said.
Bo's Coffee plans to expand some more, with the vision to open their 100th store in the first quarter of 2017 and what's even more exciting is the opening of their first international outlet within the year. Whew! There's definitely a lot going on for Bo's Coffee. And I'm pretty sure coffee lovers will have more reasons to rejoice.
