Welch's Grape Juice |
Mommies all trooped to the Garden Area of the Ayala the 30th Mall last weekend to celebrate Welch’s relaunch in an afternoon of nutrition information and parenting talks. Our well-loved Welch’s Grape juice organized this event primarily to educate parents, particularly moms to choose what’s good for their family.

Welch's 100% Grape Juice gets a thumbs-up by Purple Plum Fairy |
The afternoon was spent with fun-filled activities for
both kids and adults. Lucky attendees were able to bring home some awesome
Welch’s products during the raffle draws. One Mom was lucky enough to walked
away with a month’s supply of Welch’s products for her and her family to
consume. But of course, nobody went home empty handed as Welch’s has given each
and every Mom attendee a loot bag with their favorite Welch’s products.

During the said event, chefs from the Center for Culinary
Arts also had a short demonstration on incorporating Welch’s products in
various ways and recipes for the entire family to enjoy. Here, Purple Plum Fairy will share with you
some of the recipes I had learned during the said Welch’s event:

GRAPE
BANANA SMOOTHIE

stems removed

greek-style yoghurt
1 cup Welch’s 100% Grape Juice
1 pinch ground cinnamon
PROCEDURE:
1.
Place banana and grapes in freezer until
firmly frozen (in plastic bag if not using soon).
2.
Combine frozen fruits, yoghurt, grape juice
and cinnamon in blender and blend until smooth. Divide between 2 large glasses
and enjoy cold.
What I particularly liked about Welch’s Grape Juice is
that it’s made from 100% grape juice with no sugar added. The other juices
available in the market today may have a lot of sugar which may result to early
onset of diabetes for children. With Welch’s you can be assured that the sugar
content comes from the real fruit itself. What’s more, Welch’s are also using
Concord grapes which according to nutritionists, can help support a healthy
heart by contributing to healthy blood vessels and healthy blood circulation.
In fact, a study conducted on nearly 20 years found out
that regularly drinking of 100% grape juice made with Concord grapes will
become a great help in having a healthy blood circulation, thus preventing
heart attacks and certain cancers.
So, I’m now sharing the good news with you that Welch’s
Grape Juice is made from 100% grape juice made from Concord grapes. It promotes
a healthy heart and has no sugar added, no cholesterol and no preservatives.
From this day on, I will make it a habit to drink Welch’s
Grape Juice as part of our family’s daily meals.
