I was recently invited to Hotel Sogo’s Media Thanksgiving
and Appreciation Party held at the Eurotel Vivaldi Tower along EDSA in Cubao,
Quezon City. It was my first time to come to the said building and I was amazed
at how friendly and warmth the front desk officers were. I also liked the
interiors of Eurotel which is also owned by the same company that owns and
operates the Sogo Chain of Hotels.
Like any typical
Pinoy, I’m very much familiar with the brightly red, white and yellow colored
buildings of Hotel Sogo. They’ve become a significant part in the lives of most
Filipinos who in one way or another must’ve have stayed and celebrated their
special moments and occasions at Hotel Sogo.
Hotel Sogo began in 1992 and it was a concept between two
entrepreneurs who wanted to adopt a Japanese themed hotel that speaks
cleanliness and innovation, efficacy, courtesy, discipline and hard work. Ever since, Hotel Sogo has committed to
deliver excellent service in an affordable and budget-friendly hotel. It has
been 25 years since Hotel Sogo first opened their door to the public. They have
grown into the most popular affordable hostel in the country today.

With 40 branches nationwide and counting, Hotel Sogo targets
to open more in the next couple of years, eyeing around 60 branches across the
country. They have also leveled up in terms of services aside from their
facilities. They have introduced free Wi-Fi connections, waiters on skateboards
(for faster service), safety deposit boxes, hot & cold shower, Jacuzzi (for
VIP rooms), ample parking and even affordable in-room massage service.
