Belle De Jour's Freedom to Dream Summit held at the Red Carpet Cinema

Belle De Jour's Freedom to Dream

Shangri-La Plaza in cooperation with Viviamo! Inc. makers of the Belle de Jour Power Planner headed by Darlyn Ty-Nilo, President of Viviamo!, collaborated to organize the first Freedom to Dream Summit at the Red Carpet with an exciting roster of speakers.

Panel of speakers during the Q & A were Doc Gia Sison, Gretchen Ho and Rezza Soriano
The summit was indeed very timely as most women need self-love and self care in order for them to see their self worth. It was nice that there are groups such as these that initiates these three important things that women nowadays would oftentimes tend to forget.

Dr. Gia Sison, a mental health advocate

I actually had a speaking engagement that same day from my alma mater where I was given the chance to share my experience working after I graduated from college. But I couldn't let this opportunity pass by, I'd love to see my favorite Twitter icon Doc Gia Sison in person. Dr. Gia Sison, a mental health advocate was one of the distinguished guest speakers for the first talk called "Raising Self Worth," with life coach Rezza Custodio Soriano and Gretchen Ho, TV host and lifestyle news anchor.

The next session was about Ïgniting your Passion" which encourages people to fin their purpose and to do their best in order to achieve them. The saud talk featured Prim Paypon of The Dream Project PH along with Aimee Hashim of LoveLuxe Trading Inc.

It was followed by another talk called "Making it Happen," teaching people how to overcome life's limitations in order to achieve their goals in life. Multi-awarded entrepreneur Sherill Quintana of Oryspa Spa Solutions Inc. led the said session with Jessica Lopez, a Maningning Miclat Art 2018 awardee.

There were also booths on the event where people can donate, sign up for and volunteer for different advocacies. Project Red Ribbon also held free HIV screening tests among the guests. I was able to interview the reigning Miss Possibilities, Miss Pia who has an autism. Miss Possibilities is an organization that spotlights and celebrates individuals who are differently abled and appreciates their uniqueness. It aims to create social awareness of the priceless value that people with special needs have in our society and influence it to embrace them wholeheartedly and not with pity.

100% of the summit’s net proceeds is set to be handed over to charity organizations, extending the spirit of empowerment to female victims of rape and abuse, people living with HIV, students, and more.

With an uplifting message and great entertainment, the Red Carpet is the perfect venue to dream and be inspired.
