Joining the roster of restaurants that specializes in chicken wings is Kusina de Maria, a casual dining place that serves comforting flavors of food. A family-run hole-in-the-wall food joint, Kusina de Maria is bright, fun and comfy place. It's the kind of place that everyone enjoys, be they having breakfast, lunch with friends or colleagues, a family enjoying a weekend out or a couple on a casual date.
Named after the owner's wife, Marian--Kusina de Maria has opened their doors to the public last February 2019. But it has received the word of mouth among hardcore buffalo fans because they seem to have perfected the chicken wing concept at an unbelievably affordable price.
The owner isn't exactly stranger to business. He used to have a pet shop business but he had to transfer them somewhere near Murphy, Cubao. He thought of opening a food business because he and his wife Marian both enjoy eating. Marian admits she would watch cooking demonstrations on YouTube and she loves to prepare dishes for her family and friends. Thus they thought of a concept where they offer different flavored chicken and favorite snacks in just one dining place.
The kabasig is also good and worth to mention. Imagine bits of good ól bagnet minced to perfection on spiced mayo with green chilies and calamansi (Philippine Lemon). A great pulutan idea. You'd have to be ready to either crave for a few bottle of beers or order extra rice once you get a taste of this bagnet sisig treasure.
