The posh mall puts the spotlight this time on the Filipino talent and creativity as part of its month-long celebration of "LIKHA"--showcasing uniquely Pinoy artistry. Fashion takes on a different turn with Shang's latest runway offering, the Heritage Fashion Show where they had showcased awesome pieces culled and curated from women micro-entrepreneurs, indigenous people, and popular designers.

An initiative by the GREAT Women, the elegant anthology promotes local textile traditions and incorporating them in stylish pieces that were proudly Pinoy in texture, style and colors. The said fashion show featured works from fashion designer Rhett Eala, GREAT Women 's own GW Collection, accessories brand Adante Leyesa, bag makers Fino Leatherware, LARA, Shoe artisan Ai-She and clothing label Tygie.

Aside from fashion, Filipino Flavors and Fabrics Fair also featured and promoted some of the country's cultural heritage and livelihood-to-market sustainability, and eco-conscious fashion.
Shoppers and mall goers can also try update their wardrobe and accessories from merchants likes Beth Agarao, and support indigenous labels like Angie's Yakan Cloth, Cowhed, K'Datu Souvenirs. Popular online brands like Bidibidi bags are also available for those who'd want to put some personal crafting styles and techniques using upscaled materials.

The said fair also features a great selection of souvenirs from chimes, wood crafts and items made from Lahar in religious items. Local products are also available such as Secret Kitchen of Samar (try their Tahong in a Bottle in Classic and Spicy variants, they're so good. I bought a bottle myself!). I also bought myself a brass bracelet with intricate design from Mindanaoan tribe.
