The Manila Hotel Christmas Tree 2022 |
On November 9, The Manila Hotel has
officially signaled the beginning of its holiday celebration with the lighting
of its Christmas Tree. Decked with dazzling lights, flower printed ornaments,
red woven birds, and glittering tinsels, the Christmas Tree is befitting to be
the focal point of the Grand Lobby.
Joining Manila Hotel President
Atty. Joey Lina in lighting the tree are special guests, Department of Tourism
(DOT) Undersecretary Ferdinand “Kokoy” Jumapao, City of Manila Mayor Maria
Sheilah “Honey” Lacuna Pangan, and City of Manila Vice Mayor John Marvin
“Yul Servo” Nieto. The Office of the President Chorale then serenaded the crowd
with Christmas carols.
This year’s yuletide
décor was curated by Manila Hotel Creative Design Consultant Rachy Cuna, who
paid homage to the artistry of the Filipino people. This is something the hotel
has always championed as the True Heart of the Philippines.
