"Bayaning Pilipino" is a rousing musical tribute to Filipino workers abroad, recognizing their hard labor and sacrifice, unwavering determination to overcome obstacles and essential service to the country. He considers it as his contribution to the Philippines' economy. The song's publication a few days before the annual International Day of the Seafarer (June 25) is a deliberate attempt on Brylle's side to thank and respect the gallant and courageous seafarers, the men and women in the maritime business are frequently underappreciated.
Along with praising OFWs, the song aims to throw a light on the hero that dwells within every Filipino's heart. On this, Brylle shares, “We often hear people and even ourselves say
‘mahirap mahalin ang Pilipinas.’ But who else will love the Philippines? I choose to believe in the uniqueness of the talent and skills of Filipino workers. And I choose never to give up believing in the goodness of the Filipino heart. I hope this song becomes a reminder that there is much to love about the Philippines and about Filipinos.”
Brylle Mondejar was among the teen stars who were part of the iconic talent reality TV show “That’s Entertainment”. He is currently part of the cast of GMA Kapuso network’s daily afternoon soap “The Seed of Love.”
