Ice Cream |
I noticed how Filipinos love eating ice cream. Maybe because of our warm weather or my laid-back lifestyle, but nobody eats ice cream like we do! When you look around, you’ll discover delicious homemade ice cream which we refer to as “dirty ice cream." These ice cream aren't really 'dirty" but since they are peddled on the street, hence, it's called as such. Add a trip to one of my favorite frozen treat spots in Quezon City to your bucket list.
Papa Diddi's Handcrafted Ice Cream |
Treat your tastebuds to handmade artisanal gelato made with old-world traditions and recipes that have been passed down through the generations with Papa Diddi's. Don't forget to ask about their new flavors concocted by Sir Peter Paul Perez, the proprietor himself. He's such an ice cream fan that he created a brand of handcrafted ice cream using only the best local ingredients and carabao milk and named them after his late dad, a lawyer by profession who's fond to be called "Papa Diddi."
Are you ready for a taste explosion that will transport you straight to dessert paradise? Brace yourself for a whirlwind of delightful flavors and a carnival of colors that will leave you craving more.

A Winter Wonderland in Every Scoop - Rocky Snow Road Flavored Ice Cream Review
Papa Diddi's Rocky Snowroad flavored ice cream |
First impressions truly matter, and this ice cream nailed it in the presentation department. With swirls of rich chocolate fudge, fluffy marshmallows, and crunchy chocolate nibs peeking through the velvety vanilla base, it was a sight to behold. The snowy-white color truly captures the essence of winter, inviting you into a frosty experience like no other.
As I took my first spoonful, I was instantly transported to a snowy mountain peak, feeling the cool breeze against my face. The smooth and creamy choco-vanilla ice cream provided the perfect canvas for the delicious combination of textures and flavors. The generous chunks of fudgy chocolate nibs were a chocolate lover's dream, adding a delightful richness to each bite.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the marshmallows. These little pockets of joy brought a delightful texture to this Papa Diddi's flavored ice cream.
Is there anything better than a custom-made ice cream sandwich? Choose from freshly baked brownies or cookies for your sandwich (or mix and match). I've had them "hot-pressed" because I liked you having my ice cream sandwich extra gooey. Don't forget to add toppings like sprinkles or chopped nuts for that extra touch.
Whatever flavor you choose, you certainly can't go wrong! So, head over to your nearest Papa Diddi's branch near you: they have two branches: Maginhawa Branch in Diliman Quezon City or Eastwood City.
